My Little Journey
People always ask me, "Why Malia?" "Why you want to be an entrepreneur? You have a good and stable job. You will waste your Accounting Degree." Well I do not know the exact answer to those questions.
I would say, "Why not?"
In life, I always want stability, freedom and enjoyment. I believe that I can find this through this path I've chosen. I will not detail out the reason why I quit my job as an Accountant in a listed company, it was rather a difficult and personal decision.
After quitting my job, I was pregnant with my 3rd child. It was a happy moment for both me and my husband. We have waited 5 years for this moment. Alhamdulillah! Everything was wonderful and beautiful. I couldn't grateful enough for all this blessings.
In 2014, I started my first venture in business. Started my own skin care line, 'Charmante'. It was like a dream coming true. I managed everything from scratch (with my husband help of course! phew..) and the struggle and stress was real. It was not an easy journey. But, in the end it surpassed. Alhamdulillah again!
It has been 5 years now in the business and I have faced many obstacles; difficult employees, finding suitable ambassador, managing budget with a tight cashflow, etc..Everything was sweet than before.
For those of you out there who has a dream, don't be afraid and strive for your dreams. It is so much worth while! As the saying goes, "No pain, no Gain"..
Love, M
